Delta Integrates Industrial Power Supplies and Wireless Charging Solutions for Factory Automation at SPS Nuremburg 2024
Delta just showcased their innovations in smart manufacturing at SPS Nuremberg, from November 12 to 14 in Germany. Themed “Experience the Future of Smart Manufacturing,” Delta presented cutting-edge solutions in smart manufacturing, including the D-Bot series collaborative robots integrated with the NVIDIA's Omniverse platform and automation solutions as well as the variety of power solutions designed to enhance the efficiency and intelligence of industrial vehicles and equipment.
Charging Solutions for Industrial Vehicles: M∞Vair Wireless Charging Systems and M∞Vbase Stationary Charging Systems
Delta continued to push the boundaries of autonomous electric vehicle charging with the M∞Vair Series wireless charging systems. The Series showcased its 1kW, 3.3kW, and 10kW models, all with a primary system for AC connection and an onboard system to charge vehicle batteries. The Series also features a gap of up to 150 mm compatibility with both lead-acid and lithium batteries, and 93% efficiency. The 1kW and 3.3kW models are ideal for AGVs and AMRs, while the 10kW model is tailored for high-power vehicles such as forklifts and ground support equipment.
Additionally, Delta displayed its single-phase stationary charging system from the M∞Vbase Series to provide cable charging for forklifts, hydraulic trucks, AGVs, and other industrial vehicles. The stationary system can be customized with up to five PM1350 modules, delivering around 7kW charging power. It also connects to the online management system via Ethernet, enabling remote adjustments of voltage and current for industrial vehicles with different battery types, maximizing charging efficiency, suitable for forklifts, hydraulic trucks, AGVs, and other industrial vehicles.
Power Supply Solutions for Cobots and Factory Automation
To power up advanced industrial equipment in smart factories,Delta presented a range of panel mount and DIN-Rail power supplies.
The panel mount power supplies on display feature the newly launched PMS Series 2,500W model. It features surge power capability, ideal for cobot arms and motor drives, and supports PMBus® communication for real-time and remote monitoring and anomalies alert. The other displayed PMR Series integrates active PFC to reduce energy loss during power transmission, with a wide operating temperature range from -30°C to +70°C, ensuring stable operation in harsh environments.
As to the DIN-Rail types, the Force-GT, Chrome II, and LYTE II Series were highlighted during the tradeshow. The Force-GT Series features both single-phase and three-phase models, with up to 95% efficiency and the ability to operate at full power under environments up to 60°C. Its ultra-thin design optimizes space utilization in industrial settings.
The LYTE II Series operates in a constant current mode with a temperature range from -30°C to +50°C, making it suitable for inductive and capacitive loads such as CNC machines and control cabinets while the new Chrome II Series features Class II double insulation and is certified with both industrial and residential safety standards, making it ideal for building control cabinets and small switchboards with easy installation and maintenance for building automation and home security.
