Delta Smart Manufacturing Webinars: Practical Insights into Smart Transformation

Explore Smart Manufacturing with Delta every afternoon from 4 November on the YouTube Channel of Delta Industrial Automation

Smart manufacturing has been a well-discussed philosophy in today’s global industry. To grasp the associated business opportunities, industrial automation suppliers are consecutively launching numerous machine, process, and factory automation solutions and products. With all the attractive options in the market, many manufacturers feel confused and are resorting to boosters for smart upgrades. Observing the numerous obstacles, Delta, as an advocate for smart manufacturing, has summarized its extensive, solid, and practical experience and is starting a new webinar series. With the theme of "Practical Insights into Smart Transformation," the seminars will assist manufacturers in  turning their ideas into action. Starting from the electronics manufacturing industry, Delta has learned from its own journey and has helped customers in multiple fields complete their transformation. Consisting of relevant smart manufacturing topics, the seminars will cover industrial infrastructure implementation, predictive maintenance with AI technologies, warehousing, inspection, motion control, and energy-saving measures that will help manufacturers gain strong momentum for achieving smart manufacturing.

From 4 November to 23 December, Delta is hosting the webinar series “Practical Insights into Smart Transformation” on its YouTube Channel Delta Industrial Automation at 14:00 every Friday. Webinar topics for November will include:

  • 4 November: Hardware and software integration for automated warehouse inventory
With the on-going wave of smart manufacturing, flexible and small-volume large-variety production has gradually become the norm, which is resulting in more frequent transfers between warehouses and production lines. Due to this situation, intra-logistics is raising awareness more than ever. On 4 November, Delta will share insight into how manufacturers leverage smart solutions to integrate systems to keep tab on inventory quantity and material position. With its adoption, manufacturers can not only avoid picking wrong materials and mismatched records from actual inventory but can optimize the decision-making for paths and blocks based on the transportation history. Moreover, adopting factory-wide automated transportation and warehousing equipment helps reduce manual operation and increase productivity.

  • 11 November: Data leverage for business insights
We are in an era with mass data. Generating insights from data to facilitate decision-making is its key value. On 11 November, Delta will introduce its smart visualization IIoT solution based on HMI products. Through multiple communications interfaces and protocols, users can upload data to website browsers or the cloud, and monitor it remotely to collect useful operation insights from customized information and charts. In addition, Delta will also show how smart factory admins utilize digitization to monitor and control the equipment data in real time.

  • 18 November: Inspection tools for the semiconductor/electronics industry
As technology develops, electronic products have become more powerful but smaller and thinner, which makes parts inspection even more challenging. On 18 November, Delta will share its AOI appearance and high-speed six-side inspection machines, which can detect defects of passive components and integrated circuits at high speed and accuracy. Delta will also introduce machine vision products, one of the key components for inspection equipment, and elaborate on how the equipment’s eyes overcome the drawbacks of traditional manual operation and increase productivity.

  • 25 November: Assisting tools for electronics assembly
On 25 November, Delta will leverage its electronics assembly experience and present its widely applied screw-driving solution featuring high precision and data tracking as well as the highly integrated one-stop servo press for high-efficiency and flexible production. With smart production lines adopting Delta’s solutions, electronic assembly manufacturers can enhance productivity for a greater competitive advantage in the future.

Following in December, Delta will continue to host these special webinars. Please stay tuned for the topics of smart equipment starting guide, forces for motion control, rubber and plastics industry decryption, and high-efficiency fluid equipment for energy-saving.
