Delta Presents a “Zero Carbon Community” at COMPUTEX 2022

Promoting sustainable transformation with technology

After two years, visitors were finally invited back to the physical exhibition at COMPUTEX 2022 with Delta. This year, Delta's exhibition is themed "Zero Carbon Community", which shows a smart building solution that features smart energy efficiency and health protection, electric vehicle charging infrastructure designed on community microgrids, and many other innovative and integrated products and services. The exhibit integrates Delta’s new corporate identity that features water blue for intelligence and grass green for sustainability based on Delta's signature blue. The design echoes the concept of “Unceasing Innovation for Better Living” and the process of evolving from an industrial brand to a commercial brand.

Upholding the human-centric spirit and moving toward sustainability
Approaching the 51st year of Delta’s establishment, Delta’s CEO, Ping Cheng spoke at the COMPUTEX press conference and pointed out, "In recent years, Delta’s business scope has gradually diversified and we have actively developed smart buildings, energy infrastructure, electric vehicle onboard power electronics, powertrain systems, and charging solutions. This demonstrates Delta’s achievements in bringing a more user-centric experience and value. With our smart energy solutions, Delta expects to create a human-centric sustainable city.”

"Zero Carbon Community" features smart energy and a healthy and comfortable environment
Delta’s "Zero Carbon Community" is divided into a management center, healthcare center, U-office co-working space, auto detailing center, microgrid, and charging courtyard. The overall design focuses on "responding to users' needs" to provide a healthier, more comfortable, and safer quality of life.

The community's management center is integrated with Delta's smart building automation system and building information modeling technology that allows managers to implement smart management of the building. Also, the exhibition area is equipped with UV antibacterial products that adopt Care 222® technology that kills more than 80% of the Covid-19 virus to ensure a safe environment for visitors. Vivotek smart face recognition devices are placed at every corner of the exhibition registration, leveraging smart surveillance technology to provide automatic access control and falling alerts to improve healthcare quality and ensure the care recipients' safety.

Community microgrid and electric vehicle charging facility are used to realize low-carbon transportation
The microgrid is an essential part of energy infrastructure in a zero-carbon community. The DeltaGrid charging management system at the exhibition integrates a renewable energy system, power conditioning system, and energy storage solutions to provide power for the community’s electric vehicles with microgrids. Also, the AC MAX charging point and DC Wallbox 50kW charging point are exhibited in the courtyard of the exhibition area. Other than electric vehicles, electric motorbike charging solutions and battery charging modules were also exhibited to showcase the comprehensive solution for electric vehicle power and a low-carbon life!
