Delta's Smart Healthy Buildings are the New Norm

With the rapid growth of transportation volume, the energy consumption and carbon emissions of the transportation sector are increasing rapidly. In order to fulfill the social responsibility of green development, the Bijie High-speed Railway Passenger Transport Hub Center chose to use Delta Controls’ building control solutions to tap the potential of energy saving and carbon reduction in transportation.

"Five-in-One" Bijie High-speed Railway Passenger Hub Center

The Bijie High-speed Railway Passenger Hub Center, located in Lishu Town, Jinhai Lake New District, covers an area of about 224 acres. It is a "five-in-one" and "zero transfer" demonstration project integrating high-speed rail, rail transit, medium and long-distance passenger transport, urban public transport and an airport.

To properly handle the four major relationships between safety and energy saving, efficiency and energy saving, service and energy saving, and investment and energy saving in a station’s operation, Delta Controls employs humancentric concepts and demonstrates the powerful advantages of "centralized management and decentralized control".


Delicate management, high-efficiency and energy-saving equipment

The large-scale electromechanical equipment in the station is integrated, and Delta Controls’ DDC controllers are used to ensure the orderly control of each piece of equipment, and to achieve automatic start and stop within a certain range, reducing unnecessary energy consumption.

Data-based operation to explore energy-saving potential

Delta Controls has built a multi-functional management platform for the Bijie High-speed Railway Passenger Hub Center, integrating a mechanical and electrical equipment monitoring system, energy management system, and intelligent lighting system. The platform monitors and controls the equipment of the entire station through a computer control program, performs big data analysis, facilitates the administrator with analyzing energy consumption, explores energy saving potential, and provides the basis for formulating effective energy saving and consumption reduction measures.


The Bijie High-speed Railway Passenger Transport Hub adheres to the social responsibility of green development, integrates Delta Controls building control technology into its operations management, and strives to do its best in energy saving. Since the official operation of the station began, the building control technology of Delta Controls has lived up to expectations, making energy saving work through a series of management tools that can be seen, touched and executed.
