Dalip Sharma is a transformative leader with over 35 years of experience in the electronics and communications industry, currently serving as the President and General Manager for Delta Electronics' Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. Based in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands, Mr. Sharma has been instrumental in shaping Delta's strategic expansion and solidifying its position as a leading provider of innovative, clean, and energy-efficient solutions across these diverse and dynamic markets.

Since taking charge in 2019, Mr. Sharma has driven significant growth by championing a vision focused on delivering IoT-based Smart Green Solutions. His leadership has been pivotal in advancing Delta's presence in key sectors such as e-mobility infrastructure, intelligent energy management systems, industrial automation, and data center solutions across EMEA. Under his guidance, Delta has notably contributed to numerous large-scale deployments that underscore its commitment to energy efficiency and sustainable development.

Mr. Sharma's strategic approach involves tailoring solutions to the unique challenges and opportunities within each sub-region of EMEA. He has consistently leveraged Delta's formidable global resources, engineering prowess, and R&D capabilities to localize products and services, ensuring market-specific relevance and competitiveness. This includes fostering a culture of innovation and agility within Delta to respond effectively to the rapidly evolving technological and business landscapes.

A seasoned engineer by education, Mr. Sharma possesses deep expertise in business execution, management, and strategic development. His journey with Delta began in 2003, following the acquisition of his previous employer, Ascom. Prior to his current role, he served as the Managing Director of Delta India, where he invigorated and led the organization to become a market leader across several business verticals. During his tenure in India, he built and nurtured highly-capable engineering and R&D teams that are now invaluable assets to the company.

Under Mr. Sharma's leadership, Delta EMEA continues to push boundaries in sustainable development. The company is actively pursuing its ambitious sustainability targets, including striving for 100% renewable electricity usage in the EMEA region by 2025. Delta's commitment to ESG principles is further demonstrated by the ongoing development of its new regional headquarters in Hoofddorp, planned as a net-zero energy building targeting BREEAM Outstanding certification. This new facility, a central hub for innovation and collaboration, underscores Delta's long-term dedication to the EMEA market and its role in accelerating the global energy transition.
