Delta Presents Complete Industrial Automation Solutions for the ASEAN Market at Automex 2019

Delta presented a range of automation products and solutions for a variety of industries at the 12th International Automation Technology Exhibition (AUTOMEX) held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from May 15th to 18th. At the show, Delta demonstrated its R&D and innovation capabilities from system equipment, sensor controllers, and network communications to manufacturing management and data analysis, to successfully build its global automation brand. Delta's display included SCARA Robots, PC-Based Motion Controllers (PAC), Energy-saving Elevator systems and HVAC solutions. Product functions and features were presented by a number of demo kits, attracting the attention of many visitors.

Organized by Malaysian automation professionals, AUTOMEX is a comprehensive demonstration of automation technologies for specific industries and commercial applications. The exhibition covers everything from complete systems to fully automated solutions, as well as motion control related technologies, making it the leading international event for automation and technology in the ASEAN region. More than 2,000 exhibiting companies participated in the exhibition, attracting more than 20,000 visitors during the event.

In response to this era of unprecedented technological advancement, Delta has made significant progress in manufacturing and in mastering the opportunities of industrial change, which it highlighted with products including:

• SCARA Robot DRS Series: Combines control, servo system, machine vision system and linear module for flexible customization of compliant assembly robots. The highly integrated industrial workstation improves the efficiency of a production line and can be applied in the electronics, rubber and plastics, packaging and metal processing industries. The DRS Series is mostly used for insertion, screw driving, assembly, glue dispensing, coating, soldering, loading / unloading, pick-and-place, stacking, packaging and inspection. By being competitive and responsive it helps solve labor shortages and ensure precision manufacturing.

• PC-Based Motion Controller (PAC): A key highlight of industrial automation is the PAC motion control system. To comply with rapidly changing market demand, Delta has successfully integrated high-end PC-based industrial controllers and diverse motion control communication protocols to form a high-speed and flexible solution. It is highly reliable with a fan-less and cable-less designed PC-based system, making it ideal for automated machining in harsh environments. The solution also features high-speed response and high accuracy, and multi-axis motion control via EtherCAT and DMCNET communications for easy and flexible operation.

With this new wave of industrial transformation, the GDP of ASEAN countries has continued to grow in recent years, especially Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia, significantly increasing competition. Delta continues to present high-performance industrial automation products and solutions with advanced technology, fulfilling customer demand for automated production to reduce labor costs and enhance competitiveness.
