Delta was honored to win a total of three awards at the annual 2018 China Intelligent Building Brand Awards held at the Guangzhou Oriental Hotel on December 6th. Delta's two building control brands, LOYTEC and Delta Controls, both won a “Top 10 Building Automation Brand Award of 2018” for strength in building automation. Delta was also honored with a “Top 10 Smart Lighting Award of 2018” to become the big winner of his year's event.
Yifeng Gu, Director of the Delta Greentech (China) Building Automation BU, said that Delta's Building Automation (BA) business was developing at a high speed in 2018. The integration of Delta's sub-brands LOYTEC, Delta Controls, VIVOTEK and Delta Lighting have formed an IoT-based smart building management platform. Delta can provide our customers with intelligent HVAC control, lighting control, room automation, infrastructure integration, intelligent surveillance, access control, indoor environmental quality, and green building consulting services. The “Top 10 Building Automation Brand Award” and the “Smart Lighting Award” represent significant industry recognition for Delta's BA business.
For building automation, LOYTEC has strong integration capabilities in building management and control, providing a building management platform, building control systems, intelligent lighting, energy management, smart office systems, touch panels and building network infrastructure. With the human-oriented concept and IP-based building automation technology, Delta helps our customers achieve the optimal balance of building energy efficiency and occupant comfort.
Delta's other building control brand, Delta Controls, mainly develops BACnet compliant BA products. The newly launched O3 zone control system, integrating with multiple protocols, and new O3 Sensor Hub can centralize the control of HVAC, access control, intelligent lighting and blinds in the specific zones. To date, Delta Controls solutions have been successfully implemented on more than 2,000 BA projects in China, including hospitals, hotels, transportation and super high-rise buildings.
Delta also has achievements in the intelligent lighting area. In the beginning of November, Delta cooperated with the world's major technical specifications organization—DiiA (Digital Illumination Interface Alliance) to organize the “2018 Smart Lighting Control Application and Innovation Forum”. With many success stories, LOYTEC intelligent lighting solutions have found application in high efficiency, environmental constant lighting, control strategies, special effects lighting, lighting fixture selection flexibility, scene scheduling, and more. In addition to integrating DALI, BACnet, LonMark, OPC, EnOcean, SMI and other open protocols, it can extend to BA systems or connect to other brand systems to create different intelligent lighting design experiences for users.
The China Intelligent Building Brand Awards is a major award for the intelligent building industry, hosted by the China-based BA online media QianJia, and was selected based on annual brand monitoring data, market research and analysis, users' feedback, experts' comments and user voting. The award is known as the “Oscar” in the China intelligent building industry and is presented to companies that have achieved good results in brand building over the past year.
