Delta Electronics to Empower the Smart Manufacturing Trend with
its Latest Industrial Power Supply Portfolio Unveiled at Hannover Messe 2014

Amsterdam, Apr. 07, 2014 - Delta Electronics, Inc., the leading global provider of power and thermal management solutions, is empowering the smart manufacturing trend by extending its energy-efficient standard industrial power supply portfolio for a wide range of industrial and building automation applications. The CliQ II Series of DIN Rail Power Supplies will shine at Hannover Messe 2014 through their industry-leading power quality, reliability and durability under harsh industrial environments. In fact, CliQ II Series offers remarkable power boost parameters as a standard feature, a unique value proposition in the industry.

Delta's CliQ II Series of DIN Rail Power Supply supports a broad universe of industrial and building automation applications such as robotic arms, CNC laser-cutting machines, packaging machines, building equipment and telecom infrastructure. Its Power Boost feature of 150% for 5 seconds (24V/480W: 200% for 2 seconds) ensures neat power quality in regions with unstable power sources. In addition, its advanced design enables smooth operations due to:

•Unique reliability: With cold start at -40°C.
•Durability: Shock and vibration-resistant rugged metal or plastic case according to IEC60068-2 standards.

The Chrome Series of DIN Rail Power commonly powers automated applications for buildings and for the food/beverage industry given its compact design and leading reliability. The wide spectrum offered by Chrome Series portfolio (12V – 24V output voltage for power ratings of 10W to 100W) allows equipment vendors to offer the optimum level of energy conservation to a broad spectrum of applications especially in the process automation sector. In addition, its compliance with IEC/EN/UL 60950-1 (ITE) and UL 508 (industrial standard) ensures the highest levels of safety.

Since the launch of Delta branded standard industrial power supplies (IPS) in 2008, our IPS team has seen double-digit growth in the business with over 120 models now available in the ever growing product portfolio thanks to cutting-edge R&D and manufacturing efforts. These products are already available in all the key developed and emerging markets. All available products are on our comprehensive standard power supply's homepage (www.DeltaPSU.com) and iOS Apps (DeltaPSU, DeltaPSU HD) for the convenience for our customers and partners.

Due to strong demand for Delta's standard power supplies, the product portfolio will be expanding so as to cater to the ever growing list of applications in the field. For example, in Q2-2014, Delta's IPS team will be launching its first product in the PMH Series of panel mount power supplies which comes with safety approval for household and electrical appliances. CliQ™ II series of 2-Phase input DIN rail power supply and PJT Series of small footprint open frame power supplies (commonly used in elevator systems and compact tooling machinery) will then follow in the subsequent quarters.
