FMSmart intelligent energy-saving diagnostic system

In the past, when facilities performed maintenance and management of mechanical and electrical equipment, data was usually collected through manual meter reading. When the equipment failed and tripped, facilities would use the data collected in the past for fault diagnosis and follow-up processing. However, in recent years, due to digital transformation and equipment IoT technology becoming more and more mature, automatic monitoring systems have gradually replaced manual meter reading, and the frequency and quantity of data collection has also greatly improved. However, abnormal diagnosis still relies on the experience and knowledge rules of domain experts and there is no relevant system for intelligent pre-diagnosis. Maintenance is difficult for on-site personnel if they don’t have many years of accumulated experience and it is also impractical to perform massive data analysis manually.

Delta's FMSmart intelligent energy-saving diagnosis system for facilities management integrates Delta's own air-conditioning technicians and experts with professional licenses and project experience and past success cases of Delta's internal and external experience. Their rich experience in air-conditioning control and system energy saving is integrated into dynamic digital diagnosis logic, which is calculated through AI. The system continuously collects the operating parameters of air-conditioning equipment from the central monitoring system, provides comprehensive judgment, analysis and detection for abnormal system status, discovers hidden system problems early, and provides corresponding on-site inspection and improvement suggestions, provides active fault prediction, and ensures that the system maintains highly-efficient operation.

In addition to abnormal automatic prompts and improvement suggestions, dynamic warning values can also be established through historical data and multi-parameter comparison and analysis. When the power consumption of equipment exceeds the dynamic warning value, the system can display energy-saving problems and equipment abnormalities that may be caused by Reasons and improvement suggestions to help managers quickly find out abnormal energy consumption and improvement policies.

Taking Delta's own Ruiguang Building as an example, an abnormality in the ice water valve was detected on the system, and the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet of the air-conditioning box could be seen to confirm whether the valve was closed tightly. Whether the water pump is overloaded, the dynamic reference value is also used to find the reasonable power consumption value of the ice water pump. When the actual power consumption is greater than the dynamic reference value, the abnormal energy consumption of the ice water pump is judged.

The efficiency of the past ice-water system can only be compared with fixed standards. It is often impossible to compare with current operating conditions, making it difficult to judge the efficiency of the ice-water system. We can find out whether the current system consumes an abnormal amount of energy or maintains good operating efficiency, so as to achieve real management.

Through automatic air-conditioning intelligent energy-saving diagnosis and abnormal detection, it can effectively and further detect abnormal conditions and provide advanced abnormal accident and energy-saving analysis. Delta's FMSmart intelligent energy-saving diagnosis system provides managers with an efficient air-conditioning and energy-saving expert system that continuously monitors system operating efficiency and provides early detection of abnormalities.
