Delta Hosts Smart Manufacturing Webinars to Discuss Post-pandemic Challenges and Solutions

Explore Smart Manufacturing with Delta Every Friday Afternoon from 11~25 March on the YouTube Channel Delta Industrial Automation

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected our lives for more than two years, bringing a ‘new-normal’ to our daily lives and to all industries alike. It has accelerated a digital transformation that is becoming the inevitable future for all industries. Technology innovation is the key to meeting the related challenges such as staff relocation and remote operation.

From 11~25 March, Delta is hosting the webinar series ‘Smart Manufacturing in a Post-Pandemic World’ on its YouTube Channel Delta Industrial Automation at 14:00 every Friday. Focusing on achieving flexible manufacturing and digital transformation to meet post-pandemic challenges, Delta experts will explore various topics, including production processes & material control, production & quality management, and operation efficiency & equipment digitization. With diverse perspectives, Delta aims to empower manufacturers to stay on top of the latest digitization trends and increase their business potential.

Webinar topics will include:

  • 11 March: Equipment management and material control solutions
In a smart factory with automation machines and digital systems, it is essential to optimize key indices of equipment management, including availability and failure rates, utilization, OEE, and spare parts availability. In the second half of this session, Delta will also discuss the integration of material control system and AVGs, and the solutions that will quickly connect different procedures and enhance operation productivity.

  • 18 March: Production and quality management
Quality is another important factor for manufacturing. Delta shares integration solutions for production and quality management in the electronics assembly industry. Starting from industry trends, Delta will analyze the challenges and opportunities of digitization with case studies. Sub-topics will include cross-plant management, system integration, big data collection and implementation training.

  • 25 March: Deciphering digital transformation
Delta will share insights on digital transformation with cloud services and SECS/GEM communication protocols. Cloud services can accelerate operation management digitization, and software based on SECS/GEM protocols helps to reduce development time in the semiconductor and PCB printing industries. In these fields, Delta provides solutions that are easy to implement and that will accelerate digitization from equipment to factory management, bringing more dynamics to your manufacturing.
