Smart, Flexible Manufacturing - Delta Industrial Robot Solutions to Showcase at Taipei Int'l Industrial Automation Exhibition 2016

Delta will join the Taipei Int'l Industrial Automation Exhibition 2016 from Aug. 31st to Sep. 3rd and exhibit our new Articulated Robot DRV90L Series, robot solutions, smart manufacturing solutions, advanced automation solutions, and a complete range of industrial automation products at booth L830, Hall 4F, TWTC Nangang Exhibition Hall.

The Taipei Int'l Automation Exhibition has been held for 28 years since 1987 and has become one of the major industrial automation exhibitions in Asia. For the 2015 show, the main exhibition theme was “Intelligent Manufacturing, Launch the Future of Industry 4.0”. This year, the exhibition continues to promote issues related to Industry 4.0 to create more business opportunities for the automation industry.

As a first-time participant at this exhibition, Delta will focus on smart, flexible manufacturing and promote its three major industrial robot solutions with an articulated robot, SCARA robot and Cartesian robot. Among these, Delta's brand new Articulated Robot DRV90L Series will be presented to the market for the very first time. This new product will be available for sale in the markets of Taiwan and China at the end of his year.

During the exhibition, the DRV90L will demonstrate multi-angle insertion with a live robot workstation demo. This live demo adopts the DRV90L with a gripper installed for insertion, and Delta's Robot Controller with Drive Integrated, the ASDA-MS Series, as host controller to precisely perform multi-angle insertion. In addition, this workstation is also equipped with Delta's Machine Vision System DMV Series that can identify a variety of workpieces so the DRV90L can pick up the right one for each insertion at different angles. This demo will be a perfect interpretation of smart, flexible manufacturing, and will also be the focus at Delta's booth during the exhibition.

With a broad range of automation product lines and years of field experience, Delta has aligned with the global trends of Industry 4.0, and will introduce our newly launched “Smart Factory Solution” and “Integrated Energy-Saving Solution” for the upcoming era of “Smart Manufacturing”.

The “Smart Factory Solution” integrates manufacturing machines and factory equipment and collects their operation data for analysis and visual display via DIAView, Delta's new Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) software. This solution also transmits the data, analysis and information to the cloud via Delta's industrial 3G routers to achieve monitoring and visualization, smart scheduling, and remote management. Delta's “Smart Factory Solution” effectively enhances productivity and facility management efficiency.

Delta's “Integrated Energy-Saving Solution” adopts Delta's energy efficient automation products to build energy-saving facilities for factories. It also monitors the energy consumption and effectiveness of all power consuming facilities in factories with Delta's newly launched Industrial Energy Management System (IEMS) DIAEnergie. The DIAEnergie system monitors, collects and analyzes real-time or periodic power consumption of facilities or regions in factories. With the information of major power consumption, managers can then implement better energy strategies to enhance power efficiency and optimize energy management.
