Delta Showcases Highly Energy-Efficient Products and Solutions at AHR Expo 2018

Delta participated in the AHR Expo 2018 from January 22nd to 24th, hosted at McCormick Place, Chicago, U.S.A. This year, Delta showcased a comprehensive portfolio of cost-saving energy efficient solutions such as industrial automation (IA) for HVAC solution, building management and control, cabinet thermal solutions, UNO indoor environment quality service solution and EC fans with energy savings of up to 30 percent compared to traditional AC fans. In addition, Delta displayed HVAC control products such as Delta IA's Power Meter DPM Series and the Fan/Pump Vector Control Drive CP2000 Series that enable customers to experience the excellent energy efficiency and quality of Delta's automation systems.

As smart equipment technology continues to advance, the need for energy consumption management and green energy technology for facilities such as buildings and factories also increase. “Delta strives to deliver the best customer solution for more energy-efficient buildings. Our concept of a Delta Building is defined as one that takes advantage of the latest technologies in energy efficiency and renewable energy combined with an enhanced building occupant experience,” said M.S. Delta offers an extensive offering of products such as a complete suite of building automation controls, variable frequency drives, and DC fans to name just a few.”

For this Expo, Delta IA targeted solutions such as HVAC control and Cloud Pump Panel with IIoT Cloud and displayed products such as the Active Front End AFE2000 Series and DIACloud Management Platform with more than 95% power regeneration efficiency for remote monitoring, access and maintenance. Other key highlights of Delta's booth include:

· Power Meter DPM-C520 Series: Displayed in America for the first time, this power meter provides precise measurement for energy usage and monitoring in parameter groupings via RS-485 or MODBUS (the DPM-C520W wireless model features WiFi connection) to programmable logic controllers (PLC). The DPM Series allows fast data transmission and reading time by PLCs with total efficiency.

· Fan/Pump Vector Control Drive CP2000 Series: The vector control drive CP2000 with its intelligent PID control is specifically designed for applications such as fans, water pumps and HVAC systems. Through the new Bypass Panel Package Solution, the CP2000 achieves excellent energy efficiency for fans and water pumps in HVAC systems via variable frequency control.

The AHR Expo is considered a major event for the air-conditioning, heating, and refrigeration industry. This year it attracted more than 2000 exhibitors. During the three day event, Delta drew many visitors to the booth with our wide range of products and solutions that boost competitiveness of our global customers.
