Delta IA Joins CIIF 2017 to Showcase “Innovate to the Heart of Smart Manufacturing”

Delta Industrial Automation (IA) will participate in the China International Industry Fair 2017 (CIIF 2017) from November 7th to 11th, and has announced its theme of “Innovate to the Heart of Smart Manufacturing”, to showcase its latest integrated automation solutions and applications for diverse and green smart manufacturing. Delta will feature its High Flexibility Multi-tasking Smart Production Line that echoes this year's “smart manufacturing” theme with a customer-centric, IIoT-based, fully-automated demo, which integrates Delta's manufacturing execution system (MES), equipment management system, IIoT technology, industrial robots, and automation control solutions. At the exhibition, the demo will perform on-site smart manufacturing by taking customer orders, flexibly producing customized products, and presenting production process and equipment operation data in real-time.

The High Flexibility Multi-tasking Smart Production Line perfectly integrates Delta's robust hardware and user-friendly software developed over the past two years, to link the three robot workstations as a smart production line. It is equipped with related smart devices and adopts Delta's MES system for customer ordering, and the Production Management & Visualization Platform (DIAMMP) for overall production and machine data monitoring for flexible customized production. The whole customization process shows flexible and interchangeable production with exceptional machine efficiency in handling multiple workpieces in multiple processes. When customers come to pick up their customized gifts that have been placed by industrial robots in a pick-up area, the staff scans customers' QR codes with the new Handheld Barcode Scanner DAH Series and a robot delivers the designated gift from the pick-up area. This demonstration production line will be the smart manufacturing highlight at the show this year.

Delta will feature other advanced smart manufacturing solutions at the China International Industry Fair 2017, including:

• Smart Manufacturing Solutions that provide comprehensive monitoring and visualization of manufacturing, factory and production equipment, and energy consumption of a factory's equipment & production machines. These solutions integrate the MES Smart Manufacturing Solution, the Equipment Management & Visualization Solution, and the Factory Energy Saving & Monitoring Solution to provide factory status/real-time production monitoring, factory and production data analysis, and energy consumption management, achieving real-time, transparent, and visualized factory information.
