Event Review: Delta Presents Highly Automated Products and Solutions at ATX Canada 2017 in Toronto

Delta participated in the ATX Canada 2017 in Toronto from May 16th to 18th showcasing its highly integrated industrial automation (IA) products and solutions such as: AC motor drives, programmable logic controllers (PLC), human machine interfaces (HMI) as well as AC servo drives and motors to meet the growing market demand in North America.

ATX Canada 2017 is regarded as a major local industrial automation exhibition. This event provides excellent opportunities for collaboration with local industries including automation, design, packaging, plastics and processing. This year's show attracted more than 400 exhibitors and up to 6,000 professionals with many visitors attending the 3-day event and expressing much positive feedback.

With years of experience and continuous innovation in developing industrial automation products and solutions, Delta displayed servo drive systems, and energy-saving PLCs which can effectively control products such as AC motor drives with HMIs for real-time display of equipment and manufacturing processes. Highlighted products during the event include:

Vector Control Drive C2000 Series is equipped with modular design for easy maintenance and many extensions and includes MODBUS communication as well as a wide power range from 230V, 460V, 575V to 690V. Delta highlighted the C2000 (600V/690V) to fulfill Canada's local industrial and manufacturing industries demand for AC motor drives power range requirements. The C2000 can be widely applied in printing machines, compressors, extruders and other machinery applications.

Compact Modular Mid-range PLC AS300 Series features a built-in 32-bit SoC (System on Chip) CPU for high-speed computing and enhanced efficiency. The AS300 provides fast positioning control with up to 8 axes control via CANopen motion network or a maximum of 6 axes via pulse control (200 kHz) to effectively achieve positioning planning and path simulation. In addition, the AS300 combines with Delta's industrial Ethernet solutions to construct IoT for smart factories and to improve automation applications.

This year, Delta's booth attracted many potential customers in related industries and developed new business opportunities in the region. Delta continues to be an ‘integrated automation solution provider' for customers that wish to establish smart, green factories and to achieve our promise of “Automation for a Changing World” together.
