Event Review: Delta IA Participates in India's Plastivision 2017 and IMTEX 2017 with Great Success

Delta Industrial Automation (IA) recently showcased a complete line of industrial automation products and solutions at two exhibitions in India: Plastivision India 2017 (January 19-23) in Mumbai and IMTEX 2017 (January 26 - February 1) in Bangalore. Highlights from both exhibitions included the display of Delta's Hybrid Energy Saving System (HES), SCARA robot workstations and CNC solutions. Delta's automation products and solutions fulfill many application demands with efficiency and provide fast and simple production for local manufacturers.

Plastivision India 2017 and IMTEX 2017 are considered two of India's biggest events in the plastics and metal forming industries. Both exhibitions attracted a total of more than 1000 exhibitors, with up to 100,000 participants visited the two venues. To address India's growing industries, which include printing, packaging, injection molding and metal processing, Delta provides manufacturers and end-users with a wide range of products in the motion, control and drives categories.

For Plastivision India 2017, Delta's most popular displays included:

Hybrid Energy Saving System (HES) – The HES is used in injection molding machines to produce everyday necessities like plastic products. Delta's HES system can save up to 60% in energy consumption compared to traditional quantitative pump hydraulic systems during manufacturing processes and can reduce energy waste, maintenance costs and oil usage with enhanced production efficiency.

SCARA Robot – The Bottle Carton Packing Application employs Delta's SCARA robot with excellent speed, linearity, verticality and repeatability for precise packaging. The SCARA robot is matched with peripheral devices such as a machine vision system and smart sensors to detect bottles and place them inside a carton with enhanced speed to reduce manpower and cost.

At IMTEX 2017, an event highlight included:

The Articulated Robot with CNC Machine Tool Application used Delta's SCARA robot and CNC Controller NC300 Series to multitask via an intuitive human machine interface (HMI) and CNC Soft software with user-friendly setup support. The workstation is ideal for mold manufacturing or precise gantry control and it allowed visitors to experience and provide feedback for Delta's advanced automation technology and system integration.

This year's Plastivision and IMTEX in India offered Delta an excellent opportunity to expand business opportunities. Through continuous effort in advancing our automation technology, Delta's smart and innovative products and solutions benefit our partners and customers with greater competitiveness in their industries.
