Event Review: Innovation for Automation Technology – Delta Industrial Automation Exhibits at 2015 Engimach

Delta Industrial Automation participated in the 2015 Engimach exhibition at the Mahatma Mandir Convention Center, India on December 3 - 7, 2015. With a learning and communication platform that combines engineering, machine tools, new technology and innovation, Delta exhibited its complete industrial automation products and solutions.

Owing to rapid economic growth, India's domestic machine tool market is growing quickly to replace its dependence on imports. In the increasingly competitive market manufacturers need more reliable and efficient solutions. At the exhibition, Delta exhibited the following solutions.

- CNC Solution:
Delta's CNC Solution features high-speed, high precision and superior surface finishing that enhances the speed, quality, stability of CNC machine tools. It is particularly suitable for high-speed tapping, engraving and milling processes, molding machine manufacturing, component processing and manufacturing, and many other industries.

- Hybrid Energy Saving System for injection molding machines:
Plastic injection molding machines make the plastic products that are the everyday necessities for modern life. The Delta Hybrid Servo Drive VFD-VJ Series is designed to adjust the speed based on molding pressure and flow needs of the manufacturing processes. It reduces energy consumption and maintenance costs while increasing production efficiency and saves up to 60% in oil usage.

- SCARA Robot Work Stations for work piece insertion:
Delta's SCARA Robot Work Stations adopt the SCARA Robot DRS40L Series, which features excellent speed, repeatability, linearity and verticality. It fulfills industry needs for complex processes such as insertion, screw locking, assembly, glue pasting, coating, load and unload, pick-and-place, and packaging for the consumer electronics, electrical/electronics, rubber and plastic, packaging, metal fabrication and others. When matched with control units and other peripheral devices, it enables multi-products production with consistently good quality.

Following the government's “Made in India” development approach, India's manufacturers are moving toward industrial automation for smart manufacturing in the future. Simplifying manufacturing processes to enhance production efficiency are the most important issues. As a result, Delta's diverse industrial automation products and excellent solutions for various industrial applications attracted nearly 800 visitors and resulted in numerous business opportunities during the exhibition.
