Event Recap: Delta Industrial Automation Showcases Machine Tool Solutions at METALLOOBRABOTKA 2015

Delta Industrial Automation showcased its high performance solutions for the machine tool industry at the METALLOOBRABOTKA 2015 exhibition in Moscow, Russia from May 25 to 28. During the 4-day event, the Delta stand attracted many buyers and experts from the industry to come and share their experiences, showing Delta's commitment to building a global brand, but with a local touch.

As the leading industrial automation brand, Delta has successfully become a system solutions provider offering integrated products and services to customers in various industries. For machine tools, Delta offers controllers, motion control, temperature sensors and power quality solutions. The key products showcased at the METALLOOBRABOTKA 2015 include:

- Sensorless Vector Control Compact Drive VFD-EL Series that features high-efficiency cooling and side-by-side installation for flexible space usage. It also has a built-in EMI filter, RFI switch, easy DC BUS sharing for high precision current detection and overload protection.

- High Speed Intelligent Temperature Controller DT Series with a fast output response, accurate PID parameter auto-tuning. All DT series comply with international installation dimensions, and CE and UL international safety approvals.

- Advanced Servo Drive for High-end Motion Systems ASDA-A2 Series that features built-in motion control functions including electric cam for positioning and mark tracing, high-speed capture and compare, as well as gantry control algorithm. The Delta ASDA-A2 Series is able to provide the high-precision positioning control requested by machine designers.

- Power Regenerative Unit REG2000 Series and Active Front End AFE2000 Series are able to replace the traditional brake resistors to reduce heat generation and achieve more than 95% power regeneration efficiency. In addition, the AFE2000 Series uses PWM modulation to greatly reduce distinctive peaks of current and form perfect sine wave current. It can improve power factor to 99% and more.

METALLOOBRABOTKA is the largest local machine tools event in Russia. In addition to the exhibition, the event also included activities such as technology symposiums, seminars and business meetings. Delta cares about every detailed requirement for different markets and industries, and we continuously develop high quality products to meet customer demand, and provide “Automation for a Changing World”.
