Event Review: Delta Industrial Automation Showcases HVAC Solution at AHR Expo in the U.S.

Delta attended the 2015 AHR Expo (Air-conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition) for the HVAC industry from Jan. 26th to 28th in Chicago, USA, and presented its latest energy solutions and industrial automation products.

With Delta's solutions, our Taoyuan Technology Center saved 47% in electricity usage in 2013." said M.S. Huang, general manager of Delta Americas.

Product highlights of Delta's Industrial Automation Business Group (IABG) included: the Mid-range PLC AH500 Series, Slim PLCs DVP-S Series and HMI DOP-B Series for system and facility control, and the Intelligent Sensorless Vector Control Drive CP2000 Series for the variable frequency control of pumps and fans.

The Mid-range AH500 Series was showcased during the event for the first time. It features excellent high-speed program execution (1k steps / 0.3 ms) and program capacity (max. 256k steps) for efficient system control and rapid data processing and management. The modular design and hot-swapping function of the AH500 Series greatly improves system stability and maintainability. It also enhances system flexibility with 100m (cable) / 2km (optical fiber) between local expansion racks.

The Sensorless Vector Control Drive CP2000 Series is specifically designed for applications such as air blowers, pumps and HVAC drives to provide the greatest efficiency. The CP2000 Series has built-in BACnet and performs variable frequency control on the motors of fans and pumps according to system requirements, enhancing operation efficiency and saving energy.

Delta's booth attracted many local company visitors with its excellent demonstration of HVAC and other energy solutions.
