Energy-saving, Eco-friendly, Smart – Delta Industrial Automation to Impress CIIF 2014 with Integrated Smart Factory Solution

Delta Electronics will once again present its green products and energy-saving solutions at the China International Industry Fair 2014 (CIIF 2014) from November 4th~8th in Shanghai, China. Delta's Industrial Automation (IA), in line with global trends, continues to focus on providing highly efficient and energy-saving solutions, and will present its “Integrated Smart Factory Solution” during the event.

At stand W1-C058, Delta IA's “integrated smart factory solution” features high effiency, green technology, intelligence, and easy management for “smart production and management visualization.” It provides visual, digital, and graphical data for more efficient, flexible, and smart green manufacturing with information monitoring and management services.

The integrated smart factory solution includes industrial network management, motion control, drive solutions and an integrated system solution. Among the four categories, Delta's selective compliant assembly robot arm (Delta SCARA) and system integration will be this year's most innovative displays.

Delta will showcase its SCARA system with two sets of live demos for the first time during CIIF 2014. Delta SCARA is a complete high speed, highly precise, smart SCARA solution that combines Delta's robot controller and machine vision system. Delta SCARA is applicable to workpiece processing, irregular curve processing, and various other applications. Through the two live demos, Delta SCARA will demonstrate compliance control for components insertion and simulate the production processes of gluing, coating and polishing.

Delta's integrated solution includes three major functions: equipment control, system monitoring and control, and data management. This solution includes Delta's power meters, AC motor drives, programmable logic controllers, industrial Ethernet switches and more, along with energy efficiency and management technology, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) configuration software, and an energy management system. The soltion helps customers master real-time power consumption and improve energy efficiency.

In addition, Delta IA will present a motion control solution, AC motor drive applications, power quality solutions and more, for machinery, manufacturing, building construction and public construction.
